It's a sickness, really

Here we go again.  The kids will be headed to the dungeon in the near future with any luck.  But they couldn't go down to this.

Not because I'm a bathroom snob, but because they would finish off whatever has lasted the first 34 years in this bathroom.

We immediately took down the old fixtures when we moved in and replaced the toilet seat, all of which were wood.  Did I mention the previous owners had 4 BOYS?!   S-T-I-N-K

Among all the things they did right in our house, I don't think they put green board behind this shower insert.

I will have 4 teenagers at one time.  This layout is not condusive.

This is what I'd love

But, alas, I found two wall mount sinks for $20/each on ksl.

The floor...

I hope.

White tile for the rest?

Pics to come when this endeavor is finished.
Wish me continued luck in finding cheap (yet durable) materials.

Christensen's Early Christmas

 Big favorite for Noah.  Whack-a-mole!

We got this cow for Samantha.  Mae had a pig.  It shakes when you bonk it on the nose.  Sammy wasn't sure whether she liked it or not, but Mae had flashbacks of her piggy.

Isaac and Liv got watch bands for their Ipods.  Isaac was without his Ipod for several months after leaving it in Grandma's car when she left for North Carolina.  He was soooo happy to get it back for the trip home!

He could not get this bow off of his hand.  It went up and down, around, switched hands.  We watched him for several minutes try to get it off.

This is probably another of my lame attempts at a good gift for Jason.  He got a Sonicare toothbrush, a vegetable grill basket and ...heavens!  I can't even remember the other thing I got him.  Men are so difficult to buy for.

Except my brother.  Who still plays video games.

 Love birds

Grandma and her mini-me, Sammy.

Louis Leaves

Didn't mean to leave you hangin'...

Here's what else Louis did before he departed for the North Pole for the year.

Not willing to be left out of our trip, Louis packed his bag and made a bed roll.  We found him waiting by the door.

We had an early Christmas with my family.  Louis wanted to be sure we remembered the reason for our celebration, so he took some time to snuggle the baby Jesus.

Happy Birthday George!!!

Our last day with Louis, Christmas Day he did sort of a "Ta da!" in the center of the tree.

Thank-you Louis for making Christmas that much more magical.

See ya next year!
