More Pics

Here are some pics I took while scouting out some locations in Provo...Isaac is a natural altough Liv has a flare for the dramatic (as you all well know). Georgia slept through the whole thing.

Ugly Barbies and Veggies

F.Y.I...

Miss Olivia hereby states that when she gets big she will get "ugly barbies" (as seen below), and will not eat veggies.

Spring Fever

I attribute my new cut (given to me by myself about an hour before church yesterday), to Spring Fever. I just need something to change because the atmosphere isn't. Won't our gardens be lovely this year though?

I was so impressed that my husband came home from a round dance trip to say, "Your hair looks really pretty." He told me he's over the idea of me having long hair, YIPPEE! I really don't look great with long hair.

I also decided I needed a few pics of myself. I told Jason that if I die he's to comission an artist to do a portrait making me look good. I really don't photograph well. So I need a few more pics so that the artist can have something to draw from. By the way, he just laughed at me, so you all may have to insist for me. He He He.

Isaac's 5!

Valentine's Day

We had a romantic dinner for 5 on Valentine's Day. I cooked a chicken that didn't get done till after we ate our mashed potatoes and Grandma's Noodles. We had fancy asparagus though (with our fried cabbage). The kids thought it was all so pretty.

I should have taken a picture. Sorry. Use your imagination. Table with leaf in it. Kids on one side, parents on the other. Heart garland strung on the chandaleir.

White plates, glasses of spring water, and a Valentine's gift wrapped in a metallic red box with a bow at each setting.

It was a perfectly lovely evening.

Jason got me lots of Valentines:

Ipod speakers for the kitchen

flowers (not pictured because I got them the week of Valentine's- They were through by last night)

a basket full of enormous, delicious cookies
AND...next week we're going here

Jeremy brought me and the girls a dozen roses each (shown), and some very naughty Belgian chocolates. I'm going to be at my biggest just as it hits swimsuit season. ;)

A Little Friendly Competition?

What's up with the finger boys? Already competitive?

In all fairness, Chaucer was born 1st.

But Kai's got you by two pounds and he's only 2 days old!

Getting the Hang of It

It looks like I may know what I'm doing every now and again with this camera. Take a look at the pics I got of little Chaucer! Finally. Truth-be-told...we took around 400 pics and LOVED around 30 of them. That's what my photo teacher suggested.

100%

Today in class I stuck my head into Olivia's room (just through a closet/hallway from me). She rushed up to tell me, "Mama, I made a-huned assent!" We had a celebratory milkshake!

Focus!

We bought a new SLR camera in hopes to start a business. I SUCKED ROCKS for the first several times I pulled it out, but after some classes and hundreds of test runs, I've figured out a bit about light and a bit about aperture.

Take a look...

My kids know that after school is modeling for mom.
I have a long way to go, but you should have seen the first images I shot!!!
