Orchard Pics

I am new at this, so basically I just do what other folks do that seems cool. I may not have an original bone in my body, BUT, I have good taste. It's a start right?

Up Close and Personal

You have to see some of these pics up close. No time to edit, so they're not perfect, but good enough. I LOVE my camera!!!

Surprise Summer Visit

The Carvajal's trotted on down from Seattle for a visit. The kids had a blast at "Jaxson's Grandma's" playing in the water. Emeline gave her Grandma Val a salon treatment, they climbed some trees and roasted marshmallows.

RIP

We are gathered here today to pay tribute to a beloved friend, sister, maybe even mother, LULU. She died like she lived, in a tupperware carried to the softball game by Liv. We will always love you LULU, RIP.

Vegas Baby!

The Moby drew a lot of attention, especially on J.

For some reason, the Asian tourists found this particularly funny!

We did what we do best, EAT and SHOP!

Mae-toes laughed!

Miss Mae laughed for the first time yesterday. As always, I cried and cried while we laughed together. But, most of you know what that means, WE'RE HAVING A PAAARTYYY!

Please read this link...

I'll keep you posted.

Low gurgling laughter, as sweet As the swallow's song i' the South, And a ripple of dimples that, dancing, meet By the curves of a perfect mouth.

Ants are mean...

and rolly polly's are happy!

George loves rolly pollys and digs in my flowers to find a few everyday. She is very polite and introduces us to each of them. Having met so many, she's come to the aforementioned conclusion.

Tin or Aluminum?

Pyzam Glitter Text Maker

10 YEarS!!!! 1 decade
Tin or aluminum. The pliability of tin and aluminum is a symbol of how a successful marriage needs to be flexible and durable and how it can be bent without being broken.
10th Anniversary Contemporary/Modern Gift:Diamond jewelry. A marriage that lasts ten years is as durable and beautiful as a diamond.
-I got a diamond on our 8th- Jason's always at the front of the crowd :)-
10th Anniversary Gemstone:Diamond jewelry or blue sapphire.
10th Anniversary Color:Silver or blue.
10th Anniversary Flower: Daffodil. Trumpet-shaped daffodils represent joy, cheerfulness, and happiness. -I'm sure J didn't know this, but he just brought in a yellow boquet of flowers for me- He's intuitive too :)-
Wow, it seems like yesterday that Jason proposed marriage by saying, "Hey, do you want to get married in July?" It was foreshadowing to how we do just about everything.
"Hey, you want to move?" Every two years or so
"Hey, do you want to throw caution to the wind?" Translated- let's have kids.
"Hey, do you want to try to adopt then?" ...and get a baby within 4 days?
"Hey, do you want to move to N.C.?" Didn't work out, but it was a fun attempt
"Hey, do you want to remodel the basement?" Well, I did, but not for 1 1/2 years.
"Hey, do you want another baby?" Sure, a stressful TWO WEEKS after paperwork and *poof* Mae
"Hey, how 'bout we try these businesses and I work for myself" Going great!
We are certainly a "Hey, how 'bout..." couple. It makes life fun and ever-changing. Not a rut in sight.
My husband:
Is thoughtful and generous
honors me, our marriage, and his priesthood
Is slightly over-protective of, but very adoring of his children
Is the funniest person I've ever known
Is still hot for me after all this time hehehe
Can jam like nobody's business
Loves to shop na-na-na-na-boo-boo
What a beautiful life we have together...not all roses, but I would certainly say we've hit daffodils in a tin vase.

Yard Sale

We had a yard sale because Jason has been a trooper, but he's not really fond of "cottage style" -I didn't tell him it was, he's listened to enough hgtv from his computer while I watch to know what it is! He wants something more modern. So we sold the couch and tried to sell the diningroom set and we're re-decorating. We went to Ikea first and he got a phone call from a friend. He was telling him about the cottage style and that we didn't agree on anything except a lamp I told him I liked that he thought would absolutely not work. His friend told him to run with it, "then you could at least have a cottage at the edge of a Swedish City look."

We had lots of offers, but we owe way more than this...

Why do they suddenly love the things they disregarded for years when you want to get rid of them?

Georgia kept telling people not to touch lol!

Baby's 1st Powwow

Where's Wiv?

Mae's 1st powow she slept in the Moby wrap and in the drum circle

George likes to find treasures and make friends at the powwow. Forget the dancing.

They wouldn't allow the kids to sign up for the junior division, so they had to dance in the Tiny Tots. Isaac came walking over with his 2 bucks and said, "I only got 1."

"No, you got 2." I said.

"There's only a 1 on it!"

Last time he won second and got $75- he knows the difference!
