Enchanted Evenings

Isaac's Birthday Feast Sunday....

Liv told me and told me that I threw out the "8" candle and I didn't believe her.

Tonite (after the vinyl fence guy decided to wrap up his quote), we had Uncle Isaac, Brock, Uncle Jerrett, Heather, and us another feast to celebrate LUuuUb.

I set a beautiful table, complete with candlelight and cherubs.  And we stuffed ourselves on steak, mashed potatoes, greens with strawberries, candied walnuts and poppyseed dressing, asparagus, garlic bread and crepes.

The kids all got a gift at their seats and we had yummy strawberry limeaid.  Mostly because of the unique pink color and reflective glass bottles.

Jason tried to start some conversation about everyone's worst Valentine's Day.  Turns out he's the only one who had one. Too bad the vinyl fence guy can't come back next year.  I have a feeling he'd have a story to tell.

Wub is What Bwings us Togeva To de'

We saw some of these in a mall window in Seattle for $250!!! Somebody *see P.S. in Seattle just spent $247.50 too much on their Valentine party hat.

You're probably celebrating Valentine's Day today. Not I.

Which takes me back to July 4th 1999.

Married for almost 1 year, we found ourselves packing up our groceries while Stadium of Fire was in full swing about 1/2 mile away.

"I'm tired of mediocre holidays!" I said.

And never again have more genius words been uttered. Holidays now last about a week at our house.

Back to live programming...

Wednesday my date took me to Fleming's Steakhouse at the Gateway. We dined burgeois (boozhwah), style. Then he took me to Anthropologie for some new digs.

Thursday was Liv and George's night on the town. They had "karate food" (habachi).

Does having all your owls in a row count?

Isaac had a date with me and these Valentine's which were supposed to be robots. Couldn't make it happen. "Whooo's Your Valentine?" Isaac Dial ;)

This is what we did for Liv, minus the goofy face stickers.

Today is Isaac's birthday, but yesterday we celebrated with some boys by climbing at The Quarry and eating at Doc's. Thanks to Ryder for the marshmallow gun and the advice, "But you can't spit in it or the marshmallows won't come out." Due to the volume of marshmallows consumed by Chloe and Mae from our floor, the gun has yet to be jammed.

Tonite the whole crew (my bro-in-laws and their proctor boys) dined on J's smoked pork and brisket. 11 hours of attention to a bbq.
Now that's love.
*P.S. If you read this the day it was posted you'll note that I used a different word after "some" in this sentence. After a rousing talk from our Bishop and Stake President (church leaders), at church I've decided on a nicer word.
